World Book Day 2025

What an amazing World Book Day, all the children looked fantastic in their costumes and they all loved talking about their character. Well done everyone for all your hard work creating such lovely costumes.

It was a busy week for reading with various reading activities going on such as: a children's book swap, a teacher swap book read between infant and junior schools, and a World Book Day Musical in the hall with Mrs Smith and Miss Grimwade. Parents were also invited to come into school and read a story with their child, it was so lovely to see so many of you and we would like to thank you all so much for coming.

Finally, we had a dress your potato competition where each child could create a book character using a potato. We had so many wonderful potatoes it was really hard to choose the winners, thank you all for your creative efforts, they were all fabulous!
